Using an automatic transmission in a Kia Sportage
1. Starting the engine
* Insert the key into the ignition.
*Press the brake pedal.
* Move the selector lever to the “P” (park) position.
* Start the engine.
2. Gear shift
* To change gears, press the button on the gear selector.
* To select “D” (drive) mode, move the selector forward.
* To select “R” (reverse) mode, move the selector back and press the button again.
