The automatic transmission filter in the Hyundai Tucson is located inside the automatic transmission oil pan.
Procedure for replacing it:
1. Raise the vehicle using a lift or place it on stands.
2. Drain the automatic transmission oil into a clean container.
3. Remove the automatic transmission oil pan by unscrewing the bolts holding it.
4. Remove the old filter from the pan.
5. Clean the pan of old oil and dirt.
6. Install the new filter into the pan.
7. Apply new sealant to the pan gasket.
8. Reinstall the pan and tighten the bolts.
9. Fill the automatic transmission with new oil to the required level.
