It is recommended to change the automatic transmission pan gasket in the following cases:

* When replacing transmission fluid: When replacing automatic transmission fluid, you must remove the pan to drain the remaining fluid and replace the filter. In this case, it is recommended to replace the pan gasket.
* For automatic transmission fluid leaks: If traces of transmission fluid are found under the vehicle, this may indicate a leak from the pan gasket.
* In case of mechanical damage: If the automatic transmission pan has been damaged or deformed, the gasket will also need to be replaced.
* For periodic maintenance: Some manufacturers recommend changing the automatic transmission pan gasket at certain mileage intervals, for example, every 100,000 km.
* When repairing an automatic transmission: When repairing or overhauling an automatic transmission, the pan is removed, and in such cases the gasket is usually replaced.
