The official Hyundai manual recommends changing the oil in the Grand Starex automatic transmission according to the following schedule:
Normal Use:
* Every 60,000 km or 5 years, whichever comes first.
Heavy use:
* Every 30,000 km or 2.5 years, whichever comes first.
Heavy use is defined as:
* Towing trailers
* Frequent off-road driving
* Regular driving short distances in traffic jams
* Long trips at high speed
* Extremely high or low temperatures
