This cannot be done with an automatic transmission:

* Do not engage reverse gear (R) at high speed. This can seriously damage the transmission.
* Do not switch from drive mode (D) to park mode (P) at high speed. First you need to stop or slow down significantly.
* Do not tow the vehicle in the «park» (P) position. This can cause damage to both the transmission and the vehicle.
* Do not engage neutral gear (N) when coasting downhill. This deprives the car of the engine’s braking effect, making it less controllable.
* Do not skid in mud or snow in the drive position (D). It’s best to use Sport (S) or All Road (AWD) mode to increase traction.
* Do not use the gearbox as a handbrake. This places unnecessary stress on the transmission.
* Don’t change gears too often or too quickly. Give the transmission time to engage the gear.
* Do not switch from one mode (for example, D to R) to another without completely stopping the vehicle. This may cause premature wear or damage to the transmission.
* Do not turn the engine off or on while the vehicle is moving. This may interrupt power supply to the transmission.
* Do not add automatic transmission fluid yourself. Have the fluid checked and replaced by a qualified mechanic.
