Electronic control unit (ECU) automatic transmission

* Controls gear shifting based on incoming data.
* Calculates the moment and intensity of switching.
* Controls the operation of solenoids that direct the flow of hydraulic fluid in the transmission.

Hydraulic block

* Distributes hydraulic fluid to various automatic transmission components, including clutches, brake bands and solenoids.
* Creates the pressure necessary to engage gears.

Solenoids

* Solenoid valves that control the flow of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic block.
* Responsible for gear shifting, torque converter locking and other automatic transmission functions.

Couplings

* Devices that transmit torque from one shaft to another.
* Switched on and off using hydraulic pressure to change gears.

Brake bands

* Metal bands that are pressed against the drums to provide braking and hold gears.
* Operated by hydraulic pressure.

Torque converter

* A device that smoothes the flow of power from the engine to the transmission.
* Consists of turbine, pump and stator.

Shaft

* Metal rods that transmit torque through the transmission.
* Includes input shaft, intermediate shaft and output shaft.

Gears

* Gears that mesh with each other to change the transmission ratio of the automatic transmission.
* Allow the vehicle to move at different speeds and torque.
