Stages of disassembling a Honda Stepwagon automatic transmission:

1. Removal:

* Drain the gearbox oil.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Raise the car and place it on stands.
* Unscrew the nuts securing the propeller shaft and disconnect it from the gearbox.
* Disconnect the electrical wiring and sensor connectors.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox to the engine and separate it.

2. Disassembly:

A. Removing the oil pan:

* Clean the area around the oil pan.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the pallet and carefully remove it. Be careful not to damage the gasket.

b. Front end disassembly:

* Remove the oil pump.
* Pull the clutch pack forward.
*Remove the front cover.

V. Disassembling the central part:

* Remove the brake band.
* Remove the planetary gears.
* Remove the central housing.

d. Rear disassembly:

*Remove the back cover.
* Remove the clutch pack back.
* Remove other parts such as clutches and steel discs.

3. Check and inspection:

* Carefully inspect all parts for wear, damage or other defects.
* Check for debris or metal shavings.
* If necessary, repair or replace damaged parts.

4. Assembly:

* Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
* Make sure all parts are clean and undamaged.
* Install new seals and gaskets during assembly.
*Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

5. Completion:

* Install the gearbox on the car.
* Connect the driveshaft, wiring connectors and sensors.
* Pour new oil into the gearbox.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
*Take a test drive to check the operation of the transmission.
