Ariston washing machine wiring
The Ariston washing machine requires connection to a power source according to the following electrical specifications:
*Voltage: 220-240VAC
*Frequency: 50Hz
*Wattage: As indicated on the rating plate (usually around 2000-2500W)
Wiring and plug
*Use a dedicated outlet: Do not plug your washing machine into an extension cord or tee.
*Correct plug: Make sure the plug you use matches the voltage and current rating of the washing machine.
*Grounding: The washing machine must be grounded. Connect the green/yellow ground wire to the dedicated ground pin in the outlet.
* Cable cross-section: For connection, use stranded copper wire with a cross-section of at least 3 x 2.5 mm?.
Leakage current protection
* Residual current device (RCD): It is recommended to install a 30 mA RCD in addition to the standard circuit breaker. This provides additional protection against current leakage.
Connection process
1. Remove the shipping bolts from the washing machine.
2. Connect the water supply hose to the cold water tap and make sure it is securely attached.
3. Connect the drain hose to the drain hole.
4. Insert the plug into a grounding outlet.
5. Make sure the washing machine is on a level surface and does not rock.
