Required materials:
* Transmission oil Volkswagen G 055 025 A2 (8 liters)
* Oil pan filter (09D 325 429)
* Oil pan gasket (09D 321 371)
* Drain plug ring (WHT 005 273)
* New drain plug bolt (WHT 000 624)
Tools:
* 17mm wrench
* Ratchet wrench
* Extensions for ratchet
* Needle nose pliers
* Cleaning brush
* Funnel
* Rags
Instructions:
1. Prepare the vehicle: Set the parking brake and raise the vehicle using a jack and stands.
2. Drain the old oil: Locate the drain plug on the transmission oil pan and unscrew it using a 17mm wrench. Let the oil drain completely into the prepared container.
3. Replace the drain plug: Install a new drain plug ring and hand tighten the new drain plug. Then pull it out with the key.
4. Remove the oil pan: Remove the bolts securing the oil pan using a ratchet wrench with extensions. Carefully remove the oil pan.
5. Replace the filter: Remove the old oil filter using needle nose pliers. Lubricate the new filter’s O-ring with fresh oil and install it in place.
6. Install the oil pan: Reinstall the oil pan and tighten the bolts using a ratchet wrench.
7. Add New Oil: Using a funnel, pour new gear oil into the transmission. Check the oil level with the dipstick until it reaches the “MAX” mark.
8. Start the engine: Run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the oil through the system.
9. Check the oil level: After a short drive, check the oil level using the dipstick and top up if necessary.
10. Tighten the oil pan drain plug and bolts: Make sure the oil pan drain plug and bolts are securely tightened.

* Use only the type of gear oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* Change the gearbox oil regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Check the oil level every few thousand kilometers.
