Required tools:

*Ratchet wrench or torque wrench
* 19 mm head
*Large head extension
* Mounting crowbar
* Crankshaft pulley clamp (special tool) or two M10 studs 120 mm long with nuts

Instructions:

1. Place the vehicle in park and apply the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Insert the crankshaft pulley retainer into the special hole on the pulley. Or insert M10 studs into the two holes on the pulley flange on both sides. Place the studs against a suitable object (for example, a frame) and screw the nuts onto them.

5. Place the 19mm socket on the extension and attach to a ratchet wrench or torque wrench.
6. Loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt by turning the key counterclockwise. Please note that the bolt may be over-tightened.
7. Once the bolt is loose, carefully remove the crankshaft pulley retainer or unscrew the studs.
8. Remove the crankshaft bolt and pulley.

Installing the crankshaft pulley:

1. Clean the surface of the pulley and crankshaft from dirt and oil.
2. Apply sealant to the crankshaft pulley bolt.
3. Install the pulley onto the crankshaft.
4. Screw in the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt by hand.
5. Using a torque wrench or ratchet wrench, tighten the bolt to 120 Nm.
6. Install the crankshaft pulley retainer or stud and tighten the nuts.
7. Remove the retainer or studs.
8. Install the accessory drive belt.
9. Connect the battery.

Adviсe:

*If you don’t have a crankshaft pulley retainer, use the pin method.
* Be careful when removing the pulley to avoid damaging the bolt threads.
* When tightening the crankshaft pulley bolt, it is recommended to use a torque wrench to ensure accurate tension.
