Job responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in truck electrical systems, including lighting, instruments, starters and alternators
* Installation and connection of electrical equipment such as navigation systems, audio systems and rear view cameras
* Maintenance of battery systems, including charging, testing and replacement
* Checking and troubleshooting electrical wiring, fuses and relays
* Work with electrical diagrams and technical documentation
* Compliance with safety requirements and electrical installation standards
* Keeping records of work performed
Requirements:
* Secondary vocational or higher education in the field of automotive electrical engineering
* At least 2 years of experience as an electrician repairing trucks
* Comprehensive understanding of truck electrical systems
* Skills in working with power tools and measuring equipment
* Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
*Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Desire to develop and improve your skills
