Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical systems of trucks, trailers and auxiliary equipment
* Identifying faulty components such as batteries, starters, alternators and wiring
* Inspect and test electrical systems for compliance with safety standards and functionality
* Replacement of faulty components and installation of new electrical devices
* Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and service manuals
* Collaborate with other mechanics and operators to resolve technical problems
* Maintaining maintenance and repair reports
* Maintaining a clean and organized work space
Requirements:
* Truck electrician license
*Minimum experience as a truck electrician of 2 years
* Knowledge of truck electrical systems, including diagnostics and troubleshooting
* Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
* Skills in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
*Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Ability to work both individually and in a team
*Excellent interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work overtime or during shifts
Desirable:
* Experience with diagnostic software for truck systems
* Certifications or training in truck electrics
* Knowledge of safety standards and DOT requirements
