Materials:
* OBD-II diagnostic scanner
*Adapter for connecting to OBD-II
* Wrench or ratchet
Tools:
* 1. Start the engine and let it idle for 5 minutes.
*2. Connect the diagnostic scanner to the vehicle’s OBD-II port.
* 3. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
* 4. Go to the «Automatic Transmission Functions» or «Automatic Transmission Reset» section on the scanner.
* 5. Follow the instructions on the scanner screen to begin the adaptation reset procedure.
* 6. Allow the scanner to complete the procedure, which may take a few minutes.
* 7. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the scanner.
*8. Reset the battery terminal by loosening the nut or ratchet and disconnecting it for 10-15 minutes.
* 9. Connect the battery terminal and tighten the nut.
* 10. Start the engine and let it idle for 5 minutes.
* 11. Automatic transmission adaptation reset is completed.
Notes:
* Adaptation reset may take up to 100 km for the new automatic transmission adaptation to complete.
* During the reset procedure, avoid sudden acceleration or braking.
