Toyota Fortuner Gearbox
Toyota Fortuner is available with two types of automatic transmissions (AT):
1. 6-speed automatic transmission
* This automatic transmission is installed in Fortuner models with a 2.8 liter engine.
* Provides smooth and efficient gear shifting.
* Has the following modes:
* D (Drive) — normal driving mode
* S (Sport) — a more aggressive gear shift mode that provides better throttle response
* L (Low) — low gear mode for off-road conditions or steep slopes
2. 8-speed automatic transmission
* This automatic transmission is installed in Fortuner models with a 2.7 liter engine.
* Features tighter gear ratios for better fuel economy and performance.
* Has the following modes:
* D (Drive) — normal driving mode
* S (Sport) — a more aggressive gear shift mode that provides better throttle response
* L (Low) — low gear mode for off-road conditions or steep slopes
* Eco — optimized fuel consumption mode
Features of both automatic transmissions:
* Provide smooth and precise gear shifting.
* Equipped with Sport and Eco modes to adapt to different driving conditions.
* Features Manual Support (E-S) for greater control over gear shifting.
* Integrated with all-wheel drive system for optimal off-road performance.
