Materials:

* Oil for automatic transmission Toyota WS (about 4 liters)
* New automatic transmission oil filter
* New automatic transmission pan gasket
* Funnel or syringe for pouring oil
* 10 mm wrench
* 17 mm wrench
* 19mm wrench
* Rags

Procedure for changing automatic transmission oil in Toyota Corona Exiv:

1. Preparation

* Warm up the engine and gearbox.
* Place the vehicle on a lift or use jacks and stands to provide access to the underbody.

2. Drain old oil

* Locate the automatic transmission pan under the car.
* Place a tray under the drain hole.
* Loosen the drain bolt with a 17mm wrench and drain the oil.
* While the oil is draining, unscrew the pan bolts with a 10 mm wrench and remove the pan.
* Clean the tray and magnet from metal particles.

3. Replacing the oil filter

* Locate the automatic transmission oil filter on the side of the transmission housing.
* Unscrew the filter mounting bolts and remove it.
* Lubricate the new O-ring with clean automatic transmission oil and install a new filter.

4. Installation of the pallet

* Install a new gasket on the pan and tighten the bolts by hand.
* Tighten the bolts with a 10 mm wrench in the order specified in the service manual.

5. Filling with new oil

* Insert a funnel or syringe into the automatic transmission filler hole.
* Fill in about 3 liters of Toyota WS automatic transmission oil.
* Start the engine and shift the gear selector through all positions, holding each position for a few seconds.
* Check the automatic transmission oil level using the dipstick and add, if necessary, to the “HOT” level.

6. Final cleaning

* Check for leaks and wipe off any spilled oil.
* Install the automatic transmission pan cover.
* Lower the vehicle and remove the lift or stands.

Note:

* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 60,000 kilometers or every 2 years.
