To warm up the automatic transmission, it is necessary to warm it up to operating temperature, which is usually:

* 60-80 °C (140-176 °F) for automatic transmissions with torque converter
* 80-100 °C (176-212 °F) for robotic and continuously variable transmissions (CVT)

To warm up the automatic transmission:

1. Start the car and keep it idling for 5 to 15 minutes.
2. As the vehicle warms up, shift the gear selector to different positions (P, R, N, D), holding it in each position for a few seconds.
3. Start driving slowly and carefully, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking.
4. Monitor the automatic transmission temperature sensor readings on the vehicle’s dashboard (if equipped) or using a diagnostic scanner.
