The Toyota Camry 50 automatic transmission pan requires the following tightening torques:
Drain plug bolt:
* Tightening torque: 39 Nm (3.9 kgf m)
Pan bolts:
* Tightening torque: 13 Nm (1.3 kgf m)
Bolt tightening sequence:
1. Screw in all bolts by hand until they are seated.
2. Start tightening the bolts from the center to the edges.
3. Tighten the bolts in the following sequence:
— Bolts on the inside (closer to the gearbox)
— Bolts on the outside (further from the gearbox)
Please note:
*Use a torque wrench to ensure accurate tightening torques.
* Bolt threads should be cleaned and lubricated before installation.
* Make sure the pan gasket is in good condition and installed correctly.
* After installation, check the transmission fluid level.
