Signs of a faulty automatic transmission speed sensor:

1. Increased or decreased engine speed

* The engine may run too high or too low, even at a stable speed.
* Gear changes occur too early or late.

2. Problems with gear shifting

* The automatic transmission may not shift gears properly.
* Shocks or bumps may occur when shifting gears.
* The automatic transmission can go into emergency control mode.

3. Power reduction

* The vehicle may lose power, especially when accelerating.

4. Errors on the dashboard

*An error code related to the automatic transmission speed sensor may be displayed on the instrument panel.
*The Check Engine light may come on.

5. Speedometer not working

* The speedometer may not show the correct speed or may not work at all.

6. Short-term interruptions in work

* Symptoms of malfunction may occur occasionally or only under certain conditions, such as cold starts or certain speeds.

7. Damage to connector or wiring

* Inspect the sensor connector and wiring for damage or corrosion.

8. Malfunction of the electronic control unit (ECU)

* A faulty ECU can cause the automatic transmission speed sensor to malfunction.
