1. Place the vehicle on a level surface, apply the parking brake and move the gear lever to the “Parking” position.
2. Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the transmission housing.
3. Find the automatic transmission oil level dipstick, which is usually located to the right of the engine in the engine compartment.
4. Remove the dipstick, wipe it with a clean cloth and reinsert it.
5. Pull out the dipstick and check the oil level. The optimal oil level should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks on the dipstick.
6. If the oil level is below the “Min” mark, add the required amount of fluid through the filler plug on the gearbox housing.
7. Check the oil level again and repeat the process until you reach the optimal level.
