Programming Starline A93 for automatic transmission (automatic transmission)
Required materials:
* Alarm Starline A93
* CAN adapter (if required for your vehicle)
* Alarm operating instructions
Step 1: Preparation
* Stop the engine and turn off the ignition.
* Disconnect the “-” terminal from the battery.
Step 2: Install the CAN adapter (if required)
* Locate the CAN bus in the car (two twisted wires, usually blue and white).
* Connect the CAN adapter to the CAN bus.
* Connect the CAN adapter to the Starline A93 alarm system.
Step 3: Programming
* Connect the “-” terminal to the battery.
* Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
* Using the Valet button, press and release 7 times quickly (7 short presses in quick succession).
* The indication LED should light up continuously.
*Hold the Valet button for 10 seconds until the buzzer beeps 5 times.
* Use the “Valet” button to select the required automatic transmission type:
* 1 press for hydromechanical automatic transmission
* 2 clicks for robotic automatic transmission with two clutches
* 3 clicks for CVT
* Press the “Valet” button to confirm your selection.
* The indication LED should go out.
*Turn the ignition on and off to exit programming mode.
Notes:
* Some vehicles require a special CAN adapter compatible with the specific vehicle model.
*If your vehicle has a non-standard automatic transmission, you may need feedback from an auto electrician.
* After programming, check the operation of the alarm with the automatic transmission by testing different modes of starting and stopping the engine.
