Reasons for squeezing out the automatic transmission oil pump oil seal

* Oil seal wear: The oil seal rubber wears out over time and loses its elasticity, which leads to oil leakage.
* High pressure in the automatic transmission: If high pressure is created in the automatic transmission due to problems with the torque converter, oil pump or solenoids, it can push out the seal.
* Warped oil pump cover: The oil pump cover can become warped due to overheating or improper installation, creating gaps through which oil can leak.
* Low oil level in the automatic transmission: insufficient oil level in the automatic transmission can lead to overheating and increased pressure, which can squeeze out the oil seal.
*Faulty Oil Pump: A faulty oil pump can create excessive pressure or insufficient cooling, leading to oil seal problems.
*Clogged Oil Filter: A clogged oil filter can restrict oil flow, causing pressure to build up and the seal to pop out.

Consequences of squeezing out the automatic transmission oil pump oil seal:

*Transmission Fluid Leak: Oil leaking from the seal can cause low transmission fluid levels and damage to transmission components.
* Automatic transmission overheating: An oil leak can also cause the automatic transmission to overheat, as lack of lubrication and cooling can damage internal components.
* Damage to the oil seal: Squeezing out the oil seal may cause damage to the oil seal, which will worsen the oil leak.
* Expensive repairs: Automatic transmission repairs are expensive, and replacing the oil pump seal is only part of the overall repair.

Diagnostics and repair:

* Check the oil level in the automatic transmission.
* Conduct an external inspection for oil leaks.
* Check the pressure in the automatic transmission using a pressure gauge.
* Replace the faulty oil seal and, if necessary, the oil pump cover.
* Replace the oil filter and add new oil to the automatic transmission.
