Method 1: Using the “recharge” method

1. Turn off the engine and park the car on a level surface.
2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Wait at least 15 minutes for the electronics to discharge.
4. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Start the engine and let it idle for at least 10 minutes.
6. Move the gear selector to position “D” and hold it there for 1 minute.
7. Switch the selector back to position “P” and turn off the engine.

Method 2: Using an OBD2 scanner

1. Connect the OBD2 scanner to the corresponding port of the car.
2. Select Modules or Systems on the scanner.
3. Select Transmission.
4. Find the “Adaptation Reset” function.
5. Follow the instructions on the scanner screen to reset the adaptation.

Adviсe:

* Before resetting the automatic transmission adaptation, make sure that the transmission fluid level is correct.
*After an adaptation reset, it takes time for the transmission to re-adapt to your driving style.
* If you notice any shifting problems after resetting the adaptation, contact a qualified mechanic.
