Speed selector automatic transmission Honda CR-V
The Honda CR-V automatic transmission speed switch has the following positions:
*P (Park): Locks the transmission to keep the vehicle stationary.
* R (reverse): turns on reverse gear.
* N (Neutral): Breaks the connection between the engine and transmission, allowing the vehicle to coast.
*D (Drive): Primary driving mode for forward movement. Automatically changes gears depending on speed and load.
* S (Sport): A performance mode that holds higher gears for a more dynamic ride.
* L (Low): Designed for driving on steep slopes or carrying heavy loads.
Additional features:
* Parking release button: located next to the selector lever, it allows you to remove the vehicle from parking without turning on the ignition.
* Shift Lock Button: Located on the top of the selector and is used to prevent accidental shifting of gears.
Shift Instructions:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press the brake pedal.
3. Press the parking release button if the vehicle is in parking.
4. Move the selector to the desired position.
5. Release the brake pedal.
