Checking the automatic transmission fluid level
To check the automatic transmission oil level on a Hyundai Solaris, follow these steps:
1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
2. Switch the automatic transmission selector lever to the “P” (park) position.
3. Turn off the engine.
4. Open the hood and remove the automatic transmission oil dipstick.
5. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth.
6. Insert the dipstick back into the tube and remove it again.
7. The oil level should be between the “HIGH” and “LOW” marks on the dipstick.
8. If the oil level is too low, add appropriate original automatic transmission fluid through the dipstick hole.
9. If the oil level is too high, contact a qualified mechanic.
