External signs:
* Unusual noises or vibrations when shifting gears
*Slipping or delayed shifting
* Jumping or jolting when shifting gears
* Delay or lack of response when shifting into Park (P)
*Transmission fluid leak
Internal signs:
* Increased transmission fluid temperature
* Damage or wear to friction discs, steel discs or planetary gear
* Debris or shavings in transmission fluid
* Malfunction of solenoids or valve body
* Malfunction of gear selector position sensors or vehicle speed sensors
Other signs:
*Decreased power or fuel economy
* Flashing or turning on the malfunction indicator on the dashboard
* Problems with towing or towing a trailer
* Difficulty switching to ‘N’ or ‘P’ mode when stopping the engine
