Location of automatic transmission temperature sensor in SsangYong Actyon:
For Actyon with 2.0 liter diesel engine:
* The sensor is located on the automatic transmission pan, to the left of the gearbox.
For Actyon with 2.3-liter petrol engine:
* The sensor is located on the rear of the automatic transmission, on the radiator side.
Appearance and replacement of the sensor:
* The automatic transmission temperature sensor is a small cylindrical component with an electrical connector.
*To replace the sensor, follow these steps:
* Cool the engine and automatic transmission.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Remove the crankcase protection (if equipped).
* Locate the automatic transmission temperature sensor and disconnect the electrical connector.
* Unscrew the sensor using a wrench or socket.
* Screw in the new sensor by hand until it stops.
* Tighten the sensor using a wrench or socket.
* Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
* Reinstall the crankcase protection (if it was removed).
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
