Procedure for replacing cooling pipes of a SsangYong Actyon automatic transmission:

Tools and materials:

* New automatic transmission cooling pipes
* Wrenches or ratchet with socket and socket set
* Hose clamp remover
* Flush fluid for automatic transmission (optional)
* New automatic transmission oil (optional)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (optional)
*Gloves and safety glasses

Precautions:

* Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the parking brake is applied.
* Allow the engine and automatic transmission to cool before starting work.
* Wear protective gloves and goggles, as automatic transmission fluid can be toxic.

Procedure:

1. Pump out the automatic transmission fluid:

* If you plan to flush the automatic transmission or change the oil, pump out the fluid from the automatic transmission pan using a syringe or pump.

2. Remove the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan to the automatic transmission housing.
* Carefully remove the pan and allow the remaining liquid to drain.
* Replace the pan gasket if necessary.

3. Disconnect the cooler hoses:

* Using a hose clamp remover, disconnect the cooler hoses from the coolant pipes on the automatic transmission housing.
* Please note that a small amount of fluid may leak from the hoses.

4. Remove the cooling pipes:

* Using a wrench or ratchet with appropriate sockets or sockets, remove the bolts securing the coolant pipes to the automatic transmission housing.
* Carefully remove the cooling pipes.

5. Install new cooling pipes:

* Insert new cooling pipes into the automatic transmission housing and tighten the mounting bolts.

6. Connect the cooler hoses:

* Place the cooler hoses onto the fittings of the new cooling pipes and secure them with clamps. Make sure the clamps are tightened securely.

7. Install the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the mating surfaces of the pan and automatic transmission housing.
* Install a new pan gasket (if necessary).
* Screw the pan to the transmission housing and tighten the bolts to specifications.

8. Fill the automatic transmission fluid:

* Fill the automatic transmission with fresh automatic transmission oil to the recommended level.

9. Check the fluid level:

* Start the engine and shift all gears forward and reverse to pump fluid through the system.
* Check the automatic transmission fluid level on the dipstick and, if necessary, add to the appropriate level.

10. Reset automatic transmission adaptations (optional):

* For some SsangYong Actyon models, it may be necessary to reset the automatic transmission adaptations after replacing the cooling pipes. Consult your specific vehicle’s repair manual for instructions.
