General recommendations:

* Warm up the transmission before driving, especially in cold weather.
* Avoid sudden acceleration and braking.
*Do not tow heavy loads or trailers without express permission from the manufacturer.
* Check the transmission fluid level and condition regularly.
* Do not change gears manually unless necessary in an emergency.
* When parking on a slope, always set the parking brake and then put the vehicle in park.
* Do not press the brake pedal and gas pedal at the same time.

Operating modes:

*P (Park): Keeps the vehicle in place when parked.
* R (reverse): Moves the vehicle backwards.
* N (Neutral): The vehicle is not moving, but the engine is running.
* D (Drive): Standard driving mode for most conditions.
* S (Sport): Provides faster response and shifts at higher rpm.
* L (Low): Use for driving in a lower gear, such as when driving uphill or towing.
* B (Engine Braking): Used to reduce vehicle speed when driving on a slope.

Special cases:

* Towing: Before towing a vehicle with an automatic transmission, read the owner’s manual.
* Slippery conditions: When driving on slippery surfaces, switch to Snow mode or Winter mode if available.
* Downhill: Use “B” or “L” mode to control vehicle speed on steep descents.
* Driving in mountainous areas: Frequent shifting of gears on steep ascents and descents may cause the transmission to overheat. Take a break to let it cool down.

Maintenance:

*Change transmission fluid regularly according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Check and clean or replace the transmission filter if necessary.
* Watch for any fluid leaks or unusual noises and contact a professional immediately.
