Removal
1. Remove the right front wheel.
2. Unscrew the bolt securing the ball joint.
3. Knock the ball joint out of the steering knuckle.
4. Unscrew the nut securing the stabilizer bar.
5. Unscrew the bolts securing the steering tip.
6. Remove the brake caliper and hang it on a wire.
7. Unscrew the hub securing nut.
8. Remove the hub from the drive.
9. Disconnect the drive from the gearbox.
10. Remove the drive from the hub.
Installation
1. Press a new oil seal into the gearbox housing.
2. Insert the drive into the hub.
3. Connect the drive to the gearbox.
4. Install the hub onto the drive.
5. Tighten the hub mounting nut.
6. Install the brake caliper.
7. Tighten the tie rod end bolts.
8. Tighten the stabilizer bar nut.
9. Install the ball joint into the steering knuckle.
10. Tighten the ball joint mounting bolt.
11. Install the right front wheel.
12. Tighten all bolts and nuts.
Note:
* When installing a new oil seal, lubricate its working surface with CV joint lubricant.
* After installing a new oil seal, you need to check the fluid level in the gearbox and top it up if necessary.
