Method 1: Using a diagnostic scanner

1. Connect the diagnostic scanner to the OBD-II connector of your vehicle.
2. Find the transmission section in the scanner menu and select “Reset adaptations”.
3. Follow the instructions on the scanner screen to reset.

Method 2: Resetting the automatic transmission using fuses

1. Locate the fuse box in the engine compartment or under the dashboard.
2. Locate the «ECU-B» or «ECT» (Electronic Transmission Control) fuse.
3. Remove the fuse and wait at least 30 seconds.
4. Reinsert the fuse.

Method 3: Resetting the automatic transmission using the battery terminal

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Wait at least 30 minutes.
3. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Note:

*Always read your vehicle’s owner’s manual before performing an automatic transmission reset.
* After resetting the adaptations, it will take some time for the automatic transmission to retrain to your driving style.
* Do not reset automatic transmission adaptations too often, as this may lead to problems with the transmission.
