* Knife or flathead screwdriver
Instructions:
1. De-energize the vehicle: Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the shift panel: Locate the shift panel in the vehicle’s center console.
3. Remove the shift panel: To remove the shift panel, you may need to pry it open with a knife or flathead screwdriver. Pull it out carefully.
4. Locate the light bulb: Inspect the shift panel and locate the light bulb. It is usually located next to the gear selector.
5. Remove the old lamp: Gently pull the old lamp out of the socket.
6. Insert the new lamp: Take the new lamp and insert it into the socket. Make sure it is properly secured.
7. Check operation: Connect the negative terminal of the battery and turn on the ignition. Check whether the automatic transmission illumination lamp lights up properly.
8. Reinstall the shift panel: Reinstall the shift panel by pressing it until it clicks into place.
9. Finish the job: Make sure all components are installed correctly and the vehicle is operating properly.
