Required tools:

* Wrench set
* Screwdriver
* Finger jack
* Car stands
* Container for draining transmission fluid
* Transmission fluid
* New automatic transmission drive oil seal

Work order:

1. Preparation:

* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Loosen the wheel bolts.
* Raise the car using a jack and place stands under the frame.

2. Draining transmission fluid:

* Place a container under the transmission housing.
* Loosen the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.

3. Removing the drive shaft:

* Disconnect the drive shaft from the wheel hub.
* Disconnect the drive shaft from the gearbox.
* Pull the drive shaft out of the gearbox.

4. Replacing the oil seal:

* Remove the old oil seal using a screwdriver or drift.
* Install the new oil seal into the socket by gently pressing it in.

5. Drive shaft installation:

* Insert the drive shaft back into the gearbox.
* Connect the drive shaft to the wheel hub.

6. Tightening bolts and nuts:

* Tighten the bolts securing the drive shaft to the wheel hub.
* Tighten the bolts securing the drive shaft to the transmission.

7. Refilling with transmission fluid:

* Fill the gearbox with transmission fluid through the filler plug.
* Check the fluid level and add if necessary.

8. Final assembly:

* Close the transmission filler and drain plugs.
* Lower the car.
* Tighten the wheel bolts.
* Start the engine and check for leaks.
