Materials:
* New torque converter
* Automatic transmission filter
* Oil pan gasket
* ATF oil
* O-ring
* Sealant
Tools:
* Wrench set
* Torque wrench
* Screwdriver

Replacement procedure:
1. Preparation:
* Stop the engine and apply the parking brake.
* Raise the car using a jack and place it on stands.
* Drain the ATF oil from the automatic transmission.
2. Removing the torque converter:
* Disconnect the propeller shaft.
* Remove the starter.
* Remove the bolts securing the torque converter cover.
* Remove the cover and carefully pull the torque converter off the flywheel.
3. Replacing the filter and gasket:
* Replace the automatic transmission filter and oil pan gasket.
4. Installing a new torque converter:
* Apply a small amount of sealant to the torque converter O-ring.
* Insert the torque converter back onto the flywheel and secure it.
* Install the torque converter cover and tighten the bolts.
5. Assembly:
* Install the starter.
* Attach the propeller shaft.
* Fill the automatic transmission with ATF oil.
* Start the engine and check the fluid level.
6. Run-in:
* Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
* Shift the gear lever to all positions and hold each position for a few seconds.
* Let the vehicle sit with the engine running and in gear for a few minutes to allow the ATF oil to circulate through the system.
7. Checking the fluid level:
* Check ATF fluid level and add if necessary.
8. Completion:
* Lower the vehicle and tighten the oil pan bolts.
* Reset automatic transmission fault codes, if any.
Adviсe:
* Use only ATF oil recommended by your manufacturer.
* Observe the tightening torque when installing all bolts.
* Make sure the driveshaft is properly balanced before installation.
