Required tools and materials:

* New starter
* 12mm wrench
* 14mm wrench
* 17mm wrench
* Flat head screwdriver

The procedure for replacing the starter on a Hyundai Accent automatic transmission:

1. Disconnecting the battery

* Disconnect the negative cable from the battery using a 10mm wrench.

2. Identification of the starter

* Look under the hood and locate the starter. It is usually located at the rear of the engine, near the flywheel.

3. Disconnecting wires

* Disconnect the positive starter cable with a 10mm wrench.
* Disconnect the small connector using a flathead screwdriver.

4. Unscrewing the starter

* Unscrew the starter mounting bolts with a 14 mm wrench.

5. Starter support

* Carefully support the starter with one hand to prevent it from falling.

6. Removing the starter

* Carefully remove the starter from the engine compartment.

7. Installing a new starter

* Insert the new starter into the seat.
* Tighten the mounting bolts with a 14mm wrench.

8. Connecting wires

* Connect the small connector.
* Connect the starter positive cable and tighten the nut with a 10mm wrench.

9. Battery connection

*Connect the negative cable to the battery with a 10mm wrench.

10. Checking the starter operation

* Start the engine to check the operation of the new starter. If the engine starts normally, the replacement is successful.
