Tools and materials:
* New rear crankshaft oil seal
* Set of wrenches and sockets
* Slotted and Phillips screwdriver
* Carburetor solvent or cleaner
* Transmission sealant
* Transmission fluid (for replacement)
Security measures:
* Work should be performed on a lift or using stands.
*Be sure to disconnect the battery.
* Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool.
*Work in a well-ventilated area.
Replacement instructions:
1. Draining transmission fluid
* Locate the transmission oil pan drain plug and unscrew it.
* Drain the liquid into a tray or container.
2. Removing the flywheel housing
* Unscrew the bolts securing the flywheel housing to the cylinder block.
* Remove the flywheel housing.
3. Dismantling the old oil seal
*Using a screwdriver, carefully pry up the old oil seal and remove it.
* Thoroughly clean the oil seal seating surface from dirt and old sealant.
4. Installing a new oil seal
* Apply a thin layer of sealant to the oil seal seating surface.
* Insert the new oil seal into its socket, making sure that it is installed correctly.
* Tap the seal with a hammer and a hammer to ensure it is seated securely.
5. Installing the flywheel housing
* Apply sealant to the surface of the flywheel housing adjacent to the cylinder block.
* Reinstall the flywheel housing and tighten the mounting bolts.
6. Filling transmission fluid
* Fill transmission fluid through the filler hole on the transmission until it begins to flow out of the inspection hole.
* Close the inspection hole.
7. Checking the work
* Start the engine and check the transmission fluid level. If necessary, top up to the required level.
* Check for leaks.

* Clean the seating surface with extreme care to prevent leaks.
* Do not over-tighten the flywheel housing bolts.
