Materials:

* New automatic transmission drive oil seal
* Automatic transmission fluid
* Brake pad cleaner
* Rags
* Gloves

Tools:

* Screwdriver set
* Wrench set
* Hammer
* Pliers
* Mounting blade
* Seal puller

Instructions:

1. Preparation

* Place the vehicle on a level surface and lock the wheels with the parking brake.
* Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable.
* Drain the automatic transmission fluid according to the operating manual.

2. Removing the drive shaft

* Disconnect the CV joint from the wheel hub.
* Remove the protective cover and unscrew the bolts securing the drive shaft to the automatic transmission.
* Carefully remove the drive shaft from the transmission.

3. Removing the old oil seal

* Use an oil seal puller to remove the old oil seal from its seat on the drive shaft.
* Clean the seat from dirt and old sealant.

4. Installing a new oil seal

* Apply a thin layer of sealant to the oil seal seat.
* Insert the new oil seal into the seat using a suitable mandrel or hammer and pliers.
* Make sure the oil seal is installed correctly and flush with the seat.

5. Installation of the drive shaft

* Clean the drive shaft splines and apply new lubricant.
* Insert the drive shaft back into the automatic transmission and secure it with bolts.
* Install the protective cover and secure it.
* Attach the CV joint to the wheel hub.

6. Filling the automatic transmission with fluid

* Tighten the automatic transmission drain plug.
* Fill in new automatic transmission fluid through the filler hole, according to the owner’s manual.
* Check the fluid level and add if necessary.

7. Completion

* Connect the negative battery cable.
* Clean all surfaces from any remaining sealant or lubricant.
* Check for leaks.
* Drive the car to check the operation of the automatic transmission.
