Tools and materials:

* New left drive assembly
* Wrench set
* Driver with heads
* Crowbar or crowbar
*Transmission fluid (if needed)

Replacement procedure:

1. Preparation:

* Place the car on a level surface and block the rear wheels.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Jack up the car and place it on stands.

2. Removing the old drive:

* Unscrew the wheel nut on the left front side and remove the wheel.
* Remove the brake caliper and tie it with wire or rope to the suspension spring to avoid damaging the brake hose.
* Unscrew the nuts securing the lower ball joint and remove the bolt.
* Using a pry bar or crowbar, separate the lower arm from the wheel hub.
* Unscrew the nuts securing the tie rod end to the steering knuckle and remove the bolt.
* Disconnect the tie rod end from the knuckle.
* Remove the ring from the inner CV joint.
*Grip the outer CV joint and pull it towards you to disconnect the drive from the transmission.
* Remove the drive completely from the vehicle.

3. Installation of a new drive:

* Clean the spline on the gearbox shaft and on the inner drive spline.
* Apply a thin layer of liquid lubricant to the splines.
* Insert the drive into the internal spline on the gearbox.
* Place the stand ring onto the drive inner spline.
* Attach the outer CV joint to the wheel hub by inserting it into the spline joint.
* Install the tie rod end, tighten the fastening nuts and tighten the bolt.
* Connect the lower arm to the wheel hub and tighten the nuts.
* Install the brake caliper.
* Install the wheel and tighten the nut.

4. Completion:

* Remove the stands and lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Tighten any loose bolts and nuts.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Check the fluid level in the automatic transmission and add it if necessary.

Adviсe:

* Use new bolts and nuts where possible.
* Clean all bolted connections before assembly.
* Do not overtighten nuts and bolts.
* After replacing the drive, check for correct installation by driving the vehicle.
