Materials:
* New inner CV joint
* Phillips screwdriver
* 36 mm tubular wrench
* 13 mm wrench
* Grease for CV joints
* Metal brush
* Clean rag
Instructions:
1. Preparatory work:
* Set the car to the parking brake.
* Raise the front of the car using a jack and install supports.
* Remove the wheel from the relevant side.
2. Disconnect the drive shaft:
* Find the inner CV joint and unscrew the bolts securing it to the gearbox using a 13 mm wrench.
*Grip the drive shaft and pull it out of the transmission.
3. Remove the inner CV joint:
*Using a 36mm tubular wrench, remove the nut that holds the CV joint to the shaft.
* Remove the nut and use a Phillips screwdriver to separate the clamp holding the CV boot.
* Carefully remove the boot and remove the old inner CV joint.
4. Prepare a new CV joint:
* Clean the new part and shaft of any grease or dirt.
* Apply lubricant to the shaft splines and internal parts of the new CV joint.
5. Install a new CV joint:
* Place the new CV joint on the shaft and secure it with a clamp.
* Put on the boot and secure it with a clamp.
* Install the CV joint nut and tighten it with a force of 60 N?m.
6. Install the drive shaft:
* Insert the drive shaft into the gearbox.
* Tighten the fastening bolts with a force of 70 N?m.
7. Assembly:
* Reinstall the wheel and tighten the bolts.
* Lower the car from the jack.
8. Check:
* Rotate the drive shaft to ensure it rotates freely and the new CV joint operates properly.
Adviсe:
*Clean all parts before assembly.
* Use high quality CV joint lubricant.
*Do not overtighten the bolts.
