Tools and materials:

* Screwdriver set
* Wrench set
* Hexagon set
* Oil seal remover
* New automatic transmission drive oil seal
* Gear oil
* Sealant
* Rags

Steps:

1. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.

2. Remove the wheel from the side where the oil seal is located.

3. Disconnect the drive shaft from the wheel hub. To do this, remove the stand ring and unscrew the drive nut.

4. Slide the drive shaft out of the hub and ball joint. If necessary, use a puller.

5. Clean the surface around the oil seal from dirt and oil.

6. Insert the oil seal puller into the transmission housing and pull out the old oil seal.

7. Apply sealant to the outer edge of the new oil seal and insert it into the transmission housing.

8. Insert the drive shaft into the ball joint and tighten the drive nut.

9. Insert the drive shaft into the hub and secure it with the retaining ring.

10. Install the wheel and tighten the bolts.

11. Lower the vehicle from the stands.

12. Check the transmission oil level and add if necessary.

Note:

*If you are unsure of your skills, it is recommended that you consult a mechanic.
* Make sure the sealant used meets the transmission manufacturer’s specifications.
* After replacing the oil seal, drive the car for a while and check for leaks.
