Required tools:
* Set of socket wrenches
* Flat head screwdriver
* Transmission fluid collection box
* Automatic transmission filter
* New automatic transmission brake band
* Transmission fluid (Mercon V type)

1. Draining transmission fluid
* Place the car on stands or a lift.
* Unscrew the drain plug on the automatic transmission housing and drain the fluid into a prepared container.
2. Removing the automatic transmission pan
* Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
* Carefully pry up the tray with a screwdriver and remove it.
* Clean the tray and magnet from metal shavings.
3. Removing the automatic transmission filter
* Find and remove the automatic transmission filter by unscrewing the clamping bolts.
* Install a new filter.
4. Removing the brake band
* Locate and disconnect the reverse gear lever from the brake band.
* Identify and loosen the brake band adjusting bolt.
* Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the retaining plate from the brake band.
* Carefully remove the old brake band and replace it with a new one.
5. Installing the brake band
* Install the new brake band, making sure the arrow on the band points in the correct direction.
* Reinstall the retaining plate and tighten the adjusting bolt.
* Connect the reverse gear lever to the brake band.
6. Installing the automatic transmission pan
* Apply a small amount of gasket sealant to the corners of the pan gasket.
* Reinstall the pan and tighten the bolts.
7. Refilling transmission fluid
* Fill in new transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.
* Check the fluid level with the dipstick and add if necessary.
8. Reset automatic transmission adaptations
* Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.
* Connect the battery and start the engine.
* Shift the automatic transmission selector to all positions and return to the parking position.
* Stop the engine and wait 30 seconds.
* Carry out a test drive to ensure proper operation of the automatic transmission.
