Required materials:

* 6 T5 LEDs with high CRI (color rendering index)
* Flat head screwdriver
* Saw blades
* Soldering iron and solder
* Heat shrink tube

Instructions:

1. Removing the gearbox:

* Disconnect the battery.
* Remove the gearbox protective cover.
* Disconnect the shift wire from the transmission.
* Remove the bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.
* Carefully remove the transmission from the engine.

2. Access to backlight bulbs:

* Turn the gearbox upside down.
* Using a flat head screwdriver, pry up the plastic cover covering the shift panel.
* Remove the cover carefully to avoid breaking the latches.
* Locate the light bulbs located under the gear shift panel.

3. Replacing light bulbs:

* Remove the old light bulbs by pulling them.
*Insert new T5 LEDs into sockets.
* Make sure the polarity of the LEDs is correct (long pin is positive, short pin is minus).

4. Solder connections:

*Using a soldering iron, solder the bare LED wires to the corresponding lamp socket pins.
* Reinforce solder joints with heat shrink tubing.

5. Reinstallation:

* Reinstall the shift panel and snap it onto the housing.
*Connect the shift wire to the gearbox.
* Install the gearbox to the engine and tighten the bolts.
* Connect the battery.

6. Check:

* Turn on the ignition and move the gear shift lever to all positions.
*Check whether the backlight is lit correctly and whether there is any flickering.

Adviсe:

*Use high CRI LEDs for optimal color rendering and visibility.
* Be careful when handling the saw as it may damage the plastic parts.
*Make sure the polarity of the LEDs is correct, otherwise they will not work.
*Be sure to protect solder joints with heat shrink tubing to prevent short circuits.
