* New shift cable

Instructions:
1. Remove the terminal from the negative terminal of the battery:
This will prevent accidental operation during operation.
2. Find the shift cable:
It is usually connected to the gear selector in the cabin and the gearbox under the hood.
3. Disconnect the cable from the gear selector:
Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the bracket or locking mechanism that holds the cable to the selector.
4. Disconnect the cable from the gearbox:
Depending on the design of your vehicle, you may need to use a wrench or Phillips head screwdriver to remove the bolt or latch that holds the cable in place.
5. Remove the old cable:
Carefully pull the old cable out of the engine compartment.
6. Install a new cable:
Start by installing the new cable into the transmission. Make sure it is installed correctly in the mounting mechanism.
7. Connect the cable to the gear selector:
Align the end of the cable with the selector and secure it with a bracket or a locking mechanism.
8. Put on the protective cover (if equipped):
If the design has a protective cover, put it on the cable.
9. Lubricate the cable:
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the cable sheath and moving parts.
10. Connect the battery terminal:
Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
11. Check operation:
Start the engine and change gears to ensure that the cable is intact and the transmission is operating properly.
12. Check the tightness of the bolts:
After a short period of running, recheck all bolts and fasteners to ensure they are properly tightened. If necessary, use thread locker for added security.
