Materials:

* New automatic transmission oil seal
* Lubricant (Litol-24 or similar)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Transmission oil (if necessary to drain)

Tools:

* Set of wrenches or sockets
* Flat blade screwdriver
* Stiff bristle brush
* Rags

Execution order:

1. Removing the crankcase protection (if equipped)

* Unscrew the bolts securing the crankcase protection.
* Remove protection.

2. Drain transmission oil (optional)

* If you need to drain the oil, place a container under the automatic transmission pan.
* Unscrew the drain plug.
*Wait until the oil is completely drained.

3. Disconnecting the automatic transmission from the engine

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission to the engine.
* Carefully separate the engine and automatic transmission.

4. Removing the automatic transmission pan

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
* Remove the pan and remove the old gasket.

5. Removing the old automatic transmission oil seal

* Inspect the old oil seal and determine its location.
* Insert a flat-blade screwdriver between the oil seal and the automatic transmission pan.
* Carefully pry the oil seal out of the pan.

6. Installing a new automatic transmission oil seal

* Apply a small amount of lubricant to the lips of the new oil seal.
* Insert a new oil seal into the automatic transmission pan.
* Make sure the oil seal is installed correctly.

7. Installing the automatic transmission pan

* Install a new automatic transmission pan gasket.
* Screw the pan to the automatic transmission using bolts.

8. Connection of automatic transmission with engine

* Carefully connect the automatic transmission to the engine.
* Tighten the automatic transmission mounting bolts.

9. Filling with transmission oil (if draining is required)

* Fill the automatic transmission with transmission oil through the filler plug.
* Check oil level and adjust as necessary.

10. Installing crankcase protection (if equipped)

* Reinstall the crankcase protection.
* Tighten the mounting bolts.

Adviсe:

* When replacing the automatic transmission oil seal, it is advisable to also replace the automatic transmission pan gasket.
* Before installing a new oil seal, clean the surface of old grease and dirt.
* Tighten the bolts to the torque specified in the repair instructions.
* After completing the work, check the automatic transmission for leaks.
