Tools and materials:

* New automatic transmission oil seal
* Flat blade screwdriver
* 10 mm wrench
* Transmission sealant
* Rags
* Crowbar or pry bar

Steps:

1. Ensure safety. Set the car to the parking brake and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Raise the car. Use jacks and stands to raise the vehicle and provide access to the automatic transmission from below.

3. Remove the lower engine protection. If there is one, unscrew the bolts and remove the lower engine protection to gain access to the automatic transmission.

4. Clean the area around the oil seal. Use a rag and brake cleaner to remove dirt and oil from the area around the transmission seal.

5. Prepare a new oil seal. Apply a thin layer of transmission sealant to the outer lip of the new seal.

6. Install a new oil seal. Insert the new oil seal into the hole in the automatic transmission housing by hand or using a mandrel. Make sure it is level and fully seated in the groove.

7. Prepare the area to install the protective cover. Clean the area around the oil seal hole and apply a thin coat of transmission sealant.

8. Install the protective cover. Reinstall the protective cover and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.

9. Clean off any remaining sealant. Remove any excess sealant that has come out using a rag.

10. Reinstall the engine protection. Reinstall the lower engine guard and tighten the bolts.

11. Lower the vehicle. Slowly lower the vehicle from the jacks and stands.

12. Check the transmission fluid level. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for a short time. Then check the transmission fluid level and add it if necessary.

Adviсe:

*If you have difficulty removing the old seal, you can use a crowbar or pry bar to carefully pry it up and remove it.
* Be careful not to damage the transmission housing or other components during operation.
*Only use transmission fluid recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.
* After installing the new oil seal, test drive and check for leaks.
