Required tools and materials:

* New oil pump
* Oil pump O-ring
* Automatic transmission oil
* New automatic transmission filter
* Transmission jack
* Set of socket wrenches
* Flat head screwdriver
* Cleaning products

Instructions for replacing the oil pump of a Lada Granta automatic transmission:

1. Prepare the car. Park the car on a level surface and set the parking brake. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Raise the car. Use a transmission jack to raise the front of the vehicle. Support your vehicle for added safety.

3. Drain the oil from the automatic transmission. Unscrew the automatic transmission drain plug and drain the oil into the prepared pan.

4. Remove the automatic transmission pan. Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan and carefully remove the pan. Remove the old O-ring.

5. Disconnect the oil pump. Disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses connected to the oil pump. Unscrew the bolts securing the oil pump to the automatic transmission housing and remove the pump.

6. Install a new oil pump. Lubricate the new O-ring with oil and install it on the oil pump. Insert the pump into the transmission housing and tighten the bolts to manufacturer specifications.

7. Connect the oil pump. Connect the electrical connectors and hoses to the oil pump.

8. Install the automatic transmission pan. Clean the contact surface between the automatic transmission pan and the housing. Install a new O-ring and tighten the bolts to manufacturer specifications.

9. Replace the automatic transmission filter. Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission filter and remove the old filter. Install the new filter and tighten the bolts.

10. Fill the automatic transmission with oil. Fill the automatic transmission with new oil in accordance with the recommended volume and level specified in the vehicle service manual.

11. Lower the vehicle. Lower the vehicle using a jack and install the negative battery terminal.

12. Check the oil level. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check the automatic transmission oil level and add if necessary.

* Use high quality automatic transmission oil and filter.
* Check the oil level in the automatic transmission regularly.
