Tools and materials:

* Wrench set
*Socket set
* Flat and Phillips head screwdrivers
* Automatic transmission gasket
* Gear oil
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (if necessary)
* Oil drain pipe
* Oil drain container with a volume of at least 5 liters

Operating procedure:

1. Preparation:

* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Apply the parking brake.
* Place wheel chocks under the wheels.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Draining transmission oil:

* Find the automatic transmission drain plug. It is usually located at the bottom of the tray.
* Place a container under the drain plug.
* Carefully unscrew the drain plug and drain the old transmission oil.
* Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
* Carefully remove the tray and set it aside.
* Replace the pan gasket if necessary.

4. Removing the old automatic transmission gasket:

* Remove the old gasket from the automatic transmission surface.
* Clean the surfaces of the automatic transmission and pan from old gasket and sealant.

5. Installing a new automatic transmission gasket:

* Apply a thin layer of transmission sealant to the transmission surface.
* Install a new gasket on the surface of the automatic transmission.
* Make sure the gasket is properly aligned.

6. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Reinstall the tray.
* Tighten the bolts securing the pan in the order specified in the repair manual.

7. Refilling transmission oil:

* Fill in new transmission oil through the automatic transmission filler plug.
* Check the oil level using the automatic transmission dipstick. The oil level should be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks.

8. Reset automatic transmission adaptations (optional):

* To reset automatic transmission adaptations, follow the following procedure:
* Start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes.
* Move the automatic transmission selector to all positions and hold in each position for a few seconds.
* Turn off the engine.

9. Shutdown:

* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Start the engine and check for transmission oil leaks.
* Take a test drive and make sure the automatic transmission operates normally.
