Tools and materials:

* Automatic transmission filter (article: 46321-3C100)
* New automatic transmission pan gasket (article: 35434-23000)
* O-ring for drain plug (article: 21513-23001)
* Socket wrench for 10, 12, 14 mm
* Container for draining transmission fluid
* Funnel
* Clean rags

Replacement instructions:

1. Remove the engine protection. Remove the plastic engine protection using a 10mm socket wrench.

2. Drain the transmission fluid. Unscrew the transmission fluid drain plug on the automatic transmission pan with a 14 mm wrench. Unscrew carefully to avoid getting burned by hot liquid. Drain the liquid into the prepared container.

3. Remove the automatic transmission pan. Unscrew the automatic transmission pan mounting bolts with a 12 mm wrench. Carefully pry up the tray with a screwdriver or pry bar and remove it. You may need to apply a little force as the gasket may stick to the pan.

4. Remove the old automatic transmission filter. Unscrew the automatic transmission filter mounting bolt with a 10 mm wrench. Remove the filter from the automatic transmission housing.

5. Install a new automatic transmission filter. Install a new gasket on the automatic transmission housing and insert a new filter. Tighten the filter mounting bolt with a 10 mm wrench.

6. Clean the automatic transmission pan and magnets. Clean the automatic transmission pan and the magnets that are in it from chips and dirt. Degrease the tray and magnets with a clean rag.

7. Install a new automatic transmission pan gasket. Install a new gasket on the automatic transmission pan.

8. Install the automatic transmission pan. Screw the automatic transmission pan to the automatic transmission housing with fastening bolts using a 12 mm wrench. Tighten the bolts diagonally to distribute the force evenly.

9. Fill with new transmission fluid. Pour fresh transmission fluid into the dipstick hole. Use a funnel to avoid spills. The volume of fluid to be filled depends on the car model and automatic transmission modification, so check the owner’s manual.

10. Install a new drain plug. Install a new O-ring on the drain plug. Screw the plug into place with a 14mm wrench.

11. Start the engine and check the fluid level. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Then move the automatic transmission selector to all positions and return to the “P” position.

12. Check the transmission fluid level. Remove the fluid level dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission and remove it again. The fluid level should be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks.

13. Install engine protection. Reinstall the engine protection and tighten the mounting bolts with a 10 mm wrench.
