Tools and materials:
* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission crankcase gasket
* Transmission fluid (ATF)
* Funnel
* Wrenches or ratchet with socket set
* Jack and stands
* Gloves

Steps:
1. Preparation:
* Place the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.
* Raise the front of the car using a jack and place it on stands.
* Wear gloves and cover the work area with rags.
2. Draining transmission fluid:
* Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the automatic transmission housing.
* Place a container with a capacity of at least 4 liters under the stopper.
*Using a hex wrench or socket, loosen the drain plug and allow the fluid to drain into the container.
* Replace the drain plug and tighten it to 25 Nm.
3. Removing the oil pan:
* Locate the bolts securing the oil pan to the automatic transmission housing.
*Using a socket wrench or ratchet, loosen the bolts and remove the oil pan by hand.
4. Filter replacement:
* Inspect the old filter and remove it from the pan.
* Install the new filter onto the pan, making sure it fits correctly.
5. Installing the oil pan:
* Remove the old gasket from the oil pan.
* Apply a thin layer of new transmission fluid to the outside of the new gasket.
* Reinstall the oil pan and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
6. Filling with transmission fluid:
* Remove the ATF dipstick from the tube and insert a funnel into the tube.
* Fill the automatic transmission with the required amount of new transmission fluid specified in the vehicle’s operating manual.
* Reinstall the ATF dipstick into the tube.
7. Checking the fluid level:
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Shift all gears and return to Park.
* Remove the ATF dipstick and check the fluid level. Add more liquid as needed.
8. Resetting the automatic transmission oil aging counter:
* Using a scan tool or diagnostic tool, reset the automatic transmission oil aging counter by following the instructions on the device.
9. Final Steps:
* Remove the jack and lower the vehicle.
* Check for leaks around the oil pan.
* Check the performance of the automatic transmission by taking a short trip.

* The automatic transmission filter replacement interval is usually 60,000-90,000 km.
