Materials:

* New automatic transmission filter (part number: 31728-4BX0A)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (part number: 31397-1XF01)
* Automatic transmission fluid Nissan ATF-MATIC D (volume depends on the car model)
* Oil key head 10
* Pallet
* Funnel

Tools:

* Set of wrenches
* Hex key
* Flat head screwdriver
* Gloves
* Rags

Steps:

1. Prepare the vehicle: Place the vehicle on a level surface and secure it with the parking brake. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Drain the automatic transmission fluid: Place a pan under the drain hole on the automatic transmission pan. Unscrew the drain plug using a hex wrench and allow the fluid to drain.

3. Remove the automatic transmission pan: Unscrew the bolts around the perimeter of the automatic transmission pan using a wrench. Carefully pry up the pan with a flathead screwdriver and remove it.

4. Remove the old filter: Remove the old automatic transmission filter, which is located inside the pan.

5. Install a new filter: Lubricate the O-ring of the new filter with automatic transmission fluid and install it in place.

6. Clean the pan: Clean any dirt or old gasket residue from both the pan and the surface on the transmission to which it is attached.

7. Install a new gasket and pan: Install a new gasket on the pan and attach the pan to the transmission. Tighten the bolts in the reverse order of removal.

8. Fill the automatic transmission fluid: Using a funnel, pour the required amount of Nissan ATF-MATIC D automatic transmission fluid into the transmission. Check the dipstick and adjust the fluid level if necessary.

9. Reconnect the battery terminal: Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

10. Start the engine and check: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Shift the transmission selector to all positions and check for leaks or unusual noises.

Note:

* Check the automatic transmission fluid level again after driving a few kilometers and adjust it if necessary.
* Replacing an automatic transmission filter requires some mechanical skill. If you are unsure of your abilities, seek assistance from a qualified mechanic.
