Required materials:
* Automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Automatic transmission fluid (about 8 liters)
*Torque key
* Wrench set
* Funnel
* Bucket or tray for draining liquid
Instructions:
1. Preparing the car
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Stop the engine and set the parking brake.
* Allow the engine to cool so that the automatic transmission fluid is not hot.
2. Draining the automatic transmission fluid
* Unscrew the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan using a 17 mm wrench.
* Place a bucket or tray to collect liquid.
*Wait until all the liquid has drained.
* Replace the drain plug and tighten it to 29 Nm.
3. Removing the automatic transmission pan
* Unscrew the automatic transmission pan mounting bolts using a 10 mm wrench.
* Carefully remove the tray.
* Clean the pan and remove any remaining gasket.
4. Replacing the automatic transmission filter
* Remove the old automatic transmission filter from the pan.
* Reinstall the new filter, making sure it is seated correctly.
5. Installing the automatic transmission pan
* Apply sealant to the new pan gasket.
* Reinstall the pan and tighten the bolts evenly to a torque of 10 Nm.
6. Refilling automatic transmission fluid
* Unscrew the top plug to fill the automatic transmission fluid.
* Insert a funnel into the hole and fill in new automatic transmission fluid.
* Fill with liquid until it begins to flow out of the hole.
7. Checking the automatic transmission fluid level
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Shift the gear selector through all positions, stopping at each position for a few seconds.
* With the “Parking” gear engaged, check the automatic transmission fluid level using the level indicator.
* The fluid level should be between the lower and upper indicator marks.
* If necessary, add or drain automatic transmission fluid.
Adviсe:
* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission fluid and filter every 60,000 – 80,000 km.
* Use automatic transmission fluid recommended by the manufacturer.
* Do not overtighten the automatic transmission pan bolts.
* Dispose of used automatic transmission fluid in accordance with local environmental regulations.
